KLO Middle School is pleased to, once again, offer the very popular SD23Hockey Canada Skills Academy as part of our course options.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
2019/20 KLOHCSA class is now full. Any further incoming applications will now go on a wait list.
APPLICATION DEADLINE: Friday, March 8, 2019. Late applications will be accepted and placed on wait list in order received. For 2018-19 the program will be offered only to students in grade 8 and 9
APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED IN ORDER RECEIVED (Priority is given to goaltenders to a maximum of 4).
PREFERENCE WILL BE GIVEN TO:
-students currently in grade 7 or 8 at KLO
-applicants who play Minor Hockey
-students currently enrolled in the Hockey Academy
COST: $1,100.00
The Program has associated costs of:
· Hockey Canada License and Player Registration and Insurance Fees
· Ice Rental
Transportation
· Instructor Wages
· Equipment
· Any other costs incurred to operate the program
The KLO HCSA block will have approximately 50 hours of on-ice instruction during the entire school year..
Students will receive credit for Physical Education at their grade level.
Note: on-ice sessions are at the Capital News Center, students to meet at the arena for the AM class, students
dismissed from arena after the PM class

Please Note: To ensure that fees do not prohibit student participation, the Board will facilitate fair and confidential procedures to allow participation by students who would otherwise be excluded.
